After-Hours Emergency Veterinary Care

If your pet experiences an emergency outside of our regular business hours, we recommend contacting:

Southern Crescent Emergency Clinic

(770) 460-8166

Southern Crescent is fully staffed and open on weeknights, weekends, and most holidays. Please call ahead if possible.

Note: Be cautious of after-hours clinics that claim 24-hour care but may not be properly staffed. Choose a reputable emergency hospital for true around-the-clock treatment.

First Aid Tips Before You Arrive

  • Apply gentle pressure with a clean cloth to stop bleeding
  • Keep your pet calm and warm
  • Use a towel or blanket as a stretcher to limit movement if needed
  • Avoid self-splinting injuries — improper handling may cause more harm
  • After a seizure, remove nearby hazards and call your vet once it ends

If your pet has trouble breathing, collapses, or is in obvious distress, head to an emergency clinic immediately.
